School Nursing is a specialized practice of Public Health Nursing which protects and promotes student health, facilitates optimal development, advances academic success and provides a safe and supportive environment. SSEC School Nurses are an essential member of the educational team. We are committed to meeting the individual physical and emotional health needs of our students. This is achieved through collaboration with SSEC faculty and staff, families, health care providers and outside agencies.
