Senior
Services
Information
on benefits, services and resources for senior citizens.
Helpful Hints
1. The government defines income as dollars coming into the
house and interest on money in trust or bank accounts, not
the bank account balance or assets. Most seniors are low
income by default and qualify for financial assistance.
2. Most seniors are eligible for assistance with paying for
medications through Part D of Medicare. More details
are
online.
3. Take this
questionnaire to get
started and see what you are eligible for.
4. When purchasing equipment, such as walkers, order from
large agencies that know how to bill insurance and then
there should be little or no cost to the senior.
