Technology Training at the South Shore Educational Collaborative helps educators, librarians, counselors, and administrators from area schools reach a higher level of competency in computers, the use of the Internet, and integrating technology in the K-12 classroom.  Office 2007 is used in workshops.

Excel is your choice for financial statement, billing, inventory, grading sheets. This training will take you to the next level of proficiency.  Learn to import/export to database (Access), make amazing charts too!

Digital Photography Editing (PaintShop Pro XI)
Adjust, resize, tint, fix digital images and learn how to incorporate in PowerPoints and other files without ballooning your files size.  Bring your own photos on USB or Flash drive, or use images provided.

Engineering in the Classroom
Explore lesson plans, interactive websites, and other resources from engineering associations and other areas to help you incorporate engineering in the classroom.

The SSEC is off Route 3, Exit 15, 90 Industrial Park Road, Hingham, MA.  Courses run 9:00 AM - 3:15 PM and earn 5 PDPs; lunch is not provided.  Click here for directions.

v       Fees: $85 per course for any school employee (teachers, counselors, nurse, administration); free for South Shore High School Alliance school employees; $170 all others. 

v       Registration: Fax this form with PO to 781-740-0784, or mail it to South Shore Educational Collaborative, c/o Lauren Clark, 90 Industrial Park Road, Hingham, MA 02043. For directions call 781-749-7518.  To confirm your registration, please email Lauren.

v       Cancellations: Cancellations must be made two weeks prior to the course to Lauren Clark at 781-749-6695 x 119. If you must cancel, you may always send a substitute from your school.
