Students at South Shore High participate in the Clothesline Project to recognize the effects of domestic violence!


 

Community Adult Program participants often learn about their human and civil rights through the adapted curriculum designed on the computer which can be accessed through alternative means.

Community School students enjoy therapeutic riding as a regular part of the summer school program.
 
 
 

Fully adapted and accessible cooking activities occur weekly and are enjoyed by all of the adult participants in the Community Adult Program.

Community School elementary students participating in a science activity on hurricanes by using their core vocabulary boards and augmentative communication systems.
 
Community Adult Program participants care for the fish in the activity rooms as well as the large goldfish in the greenhouse.

Visual arts and photography are offered to enhance to content area curriculum at South Shore High School.
 

The program service dog from NEADS is often used to support the students in a variety of activities throughout the day in the Community School.

Community Adult Program adults participate in a variety of craft making activities to decorate their activities room and are often sold in craft fairs.
